On farms, if a farm animal is pregnant and the fetus is no longer viable, the farmer will step in (or call a vet) to remove it. This allows the animal to live and potentially get pregnant again, and can save the remaining litter.

In several states, that procedure is now illegal for humans.
Doctors are forced to let the person perish because a fetus did not grow to term and the body was unable to fully flush out the decaying cells.
Because that's the wording on the law.
It isn't about life.
And if it's a multiple pregnancy and one fetus isn't viable, the others must now perish, along with the carrier. That's the law now.
Does that sound "pro life"?
They aren’t pro life. They’re pro pregnancy as punishment for women having sex. Every example simply proves that punishment is the goal, not helping women and certainly not helping babies. Once a baby is born, they have no interest in its well being as proven by their rejection of all policies that help children…
ReplyDeleteIt's about punishing women. And control. We're very liberal in my family. My brother has five children. (Well, two are adults now, but...) That was their choice. (And four of the five wouldn't exist without abortion as there was an unviable pregnancy between #1 & #2.)
